Handgun Class
This class is an entry level course for handgun shooters and is designed specifically for those who have not had any formal instruction or those who wish a refresher class. Topics covered include the following: safety, stance, grip, sight alignment and trigger control. Familiarization with their service pistol includes field stripping and maintenance. In addition to this, other topics that are covered include reloads, draw, and introduction to different skill drills including dry fire and bulls eye shooting.

***There are no pre-requisites for this course***

- Eye and Ear Protection (electronic hearing protection is preferred)
- Serviceable handgun of at least 9mm Para caliber
- Serviceable holster
- Minimum one double magazine pouch / Ability to carry minimum of two magazines
- Minimum of three serviceable magazines (5 is better)
- 300 rounds of ammunition
- Suitable range wear depending on the season
- Good attitude

Carbine Class


Carbine Class Topics covered include carbine safety, stance, zeroing sights, sight alignment and trigger control. Familiarization with their carbine topics includes field stripping and maintenance. Other subject matter that is covered includes reloads, presentation, strong side & weak side shooting, shooting positions, use of cover, and introduction to different skill drills including dry fire and bulls eye shooting. Malfunction drills and shooting on the move. Timed fire drills and evaluations based on class skill level.

- Serviceable sling (tactical type preferred.)

- Minimum of 5 serviceable carbine magazines

- Optics – (Optional, but highly suggested)

- Minimum 1 carbine magazine pouch - or method to carry at least two spares magazine(s)


Handgun:

- Serviceable handgun of at least 9mm Para caliber

- Serviceable holster

- Minimum one double magazine pouch / Ability to carry minimum of two magazines

- Minimum of three serviceable magazines (5 is better)


MISC:

- Eye and ear protection (electronic hearing protection is preferred)

- Suitable range wear depending on the season

- Weapon cleaning & lubrication supplies

- Good attitude


Zeroed Weapons: 50-yard carbine preferred, but others are acceptable if you have a good reason why and understand it. Know your handguns zero at various ranges.

TWO DAY ADVANCED HANDGUN CLASS
There will be lowlight no light the first day of this class

•    Serviceable Semi-Automatic Pistol Of 9mm Or Larger Caliber (This Is An Semi-Auto Pistol Course)
•    Weapon Mounted Light (If You Carry One Concealed) And Hand Held Compact High Output Flashlight
•    600 Min Of Ammunition
•    Concealment Holster
•    1 Magazine Pouch And 4 Magazines.
•    Normal Range Bag Equipment: Eyes, Ears, Cleaning Equipment, Basic Tools Required To Maintain Your Pistol, Holster And Pouches.
